You know the depth of me.
There were too many truths we didn’t bother to hide from eachother,
too many to allow us the peace of becoming strangers.
too many to allow us the peace of becoming strangers.
You know me, and I know you, too well for us to hide our selves with the lies that would allow us to be friends.
It hurts so much to long for the very thing that you fear may destroy you. I have learned this over and over myself. And yes dear, I agree we must let it go.
Someday we will stand nose to nose, without a flinch on either side, without a tear in either eye, and say there is no longer an ounce of you in me, of me in you, and no more love threads between us.
It will be a grand con.
