Poor Lo

After the kitten ear incident of 2005, I had a pretty good Idea that we had better watch little Blue Eyes VERY carefully. But her remorse, coupled with her developing maternal spirit, has calmed my fears a good degree. She feeds and plays tenderly with her hamster every day and still handles him with gentle kindness after he delves out one of his occasional bites.

But I have had my suspicions about the two of them; she roots for her daddy a little too loudly when he decided to give the kitty a “needed” bath. I have had to free the poor thing from “prison” at least a dozen times by asking her jailors to kindly remove their weight from the overturned laundry basket. Not long ago I found them in the bedroom giggling and zipping a suit case and when I asked the two of them said, “nothing” but the suitcase said “meow”.

I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but my suspicions are confirmed as of yesterday. It is clear that neither member of my immediate family should be allowed to handle a cat and a cutting utensil at the same time without close supervision.

One no longer counts as the other's super-
vision.
They claimed she was hot.....

And that she loves it!
